The coastal village of Penally can be found around a mile to the south-west of Tenby.
Penally’s beach links up with Tenby’s South beach , but it’s far quieter and sheltered from the wind by the Giltar Point headland.
The village has a newsagents and shop, a parish church and a pub where pets are welcome.
Fine dining is on offer at Penally Abbey Hotel and Restaurant , set amidst the ruins of a medieval abbey and chapel .
Another historic local building, Trefloyne Manor, has also become a hotel and restaurant, with the added draw of an 18-hole golf course with stunning views.
